Margaret, once again thank you for such a detailed and extended comment. I took another shot creating a very different exposure. I will take on the points that you've raised and submit that so that we can both assess the differences. I appreciate also your comments in regards to the variations of signature. I have been terribly busy of late and agree that the signatures should match with the key elements of the photograph adding to its professionalism.

It is a real thrill to be there at the right time when a gap in the fog revealed a sliver of city and the sliver of tall skyscrapers above. What luck! The light on the tall buildings brings the focus there. I like the dark hints of shapes in the bottom sliver of fog as that adds detail there. I would remove the light flare on the bottom right and the dot of flare on the left. Although those add authenticity to it in a way so perhaps not! I would remove them and then see if I liked it better with or without. Overall I think add a vignette or a slight graduated filter from the top. If I can add another technical detail, I have 4 signatures to add to my work, one in black and one in white, and one against a black panel and one against a white panel so that they always stand out. If the viewer really explores this image there is a lot of subtle detail, even in the clouds.

An unexpected bonus from an early morning drive to turn and see the fog surround the CBD of Adelaide. The city towers cast a glow into the fog caught with a 6 sec shot pre-dawn.
