Margaret, I have recently upgraded to a Nikon D850 and hope to have improved success in expressing what I see or expect to see and change till it reflects that reality.I am hoping that the additional size of each shot will give me added flexibility. What I have done is always next spend a cent until I have sold art to pay for the next step. I slow process but one I hope means that the art I like is expressed fully with the limited equipment and then improved with knowledge and technology. Is that a journey that many follow?

We all must have seen water rushing off a swimmers back many times - we look but we don't see. This image has amazing detail that invites us to see afresh, to appreciate, to respond to unexpected beauty. Thank you for showing us. What do others think of this image? When a swimmer glides through the water so few realize just what is happening as that water ripples over the back of the swimmer. Each pulse of water bends and twists down the back like honey over a hot fire.

Alan would you write an artist's statement for this image? It is very unusual and would help the viewer to understand what your intentions were.
