Warren Veivers AFIAP FAPS SSAPS PSQA

Saturday:  10:45am - 11:45am
Guest Speaker:   "Photo Impressionism"

Warren Veivers was first infected by the photography bug in 1959 and has never recovered. His earliest interest was Landscape and People photography in Monochrome. This love of monochrome continues to this day even if he’s given away all of his darkroom equipment. Currently his interests have broadened to include Nature, Travel, Street and Social Documentary Photography as well as Infra-red Landscapes. Warren has embraced the creative potential inherent in Digital Photography and particularly Photoshop, which has many processes that are based on Darkroom Practice. Some of his recent works are light paintings utilising a moving camera while others involve the blending of monochrome and colour images.

In addition to his personal photography and regularly judging for camera clubs Warren has also judged photography at interclub competitions, local shows and national and international exhibitions. Finally, he has written articles on various photographic topics and famous photographers for Camera Club newsletters and prepared a variety of presentations given at camera club meetings, PSQ judges forums and conventions and even at two conventions of the Australian Photographic Society.
